When this truck still had 200000 miles a paid someone to wash the truck. The kid used a brillo pad in several spots. This along with chopped paint in other places, and a really scuffed up roof this truck needs some tlc. Any tips on how to fix this. Does touch up paint actually color match?

Why the hell would you use a Brillo pad on a car? Actually the big question is why the hell would a Brillo pad be around cars.

Would a touch up paint kit be a good or bad idea on rust spots?

Before you can coverup the rust you need to get rid of the rust. If not, the rust will continue to form underneath the paint

If the roof is just scuffed it can be polished out with a DA. Post some pics of the rust spots.
