If you order bare metal, be prepared to scuff it with some 100 to 120 grit sandpaper, next clean with methyl hydrate, followed by a coat of self-etching primer or adhesion promoter, then paint or coat. Very easy.

    You'll be good to go!

    ------------------------------------------

    Easy to maintain too!

Is anyone running a bestop cover on their trucks? Looking for some feedback from ya.

I like my tonneu cover since its easy on and off, but your limited to how high you can stack shit. A cap would be ideal, but I don't want to be limited if I have something tall, and the process of on and off isn't as quick/easy as a tonneu cover. So Bestop seems like a happy medium, but I am concerned about the fabric in the winters, does it hold up? Is it somewhat water tight? Is it worth the money?

Would appreciate any feedback with your experiences

So I park beside a factory issue TRD Off Road ...

    trd_offroad_front_zps7difppef_e29d0dc7e903f59d34bff58a67eb36f327d9f71b.jpg

    ... and take a closer look ...

    trd_offroad_between_zpsa4zgu9i2_f493d941e179e26b870af12da5dbcb3a5fb11682.jpg

Which one is the Off Road vehicle of choice?

    trd_offroad_rear_zpsjd2whvwh_6446fbf737f99f26ea61aa77ef6e3f17d772335d.jpg

The Off Road looks like a fucking car. I can't wait to park beside a factory Pro.

Nice. I like it but I think I want one that removes stock bumper completely. Limited choice for tube bumpers in that sense. Only one I can think of right now is Trail Gear.

... but, it also replaces the factory hitch assembly, and I can't have that.

I suppose I could do some updates...

    image.jpg3_zpsirniy0pl_efd7e4f1366e760d2ac3243945fee6595349e36a.jpg

Got my retrofit from Ambiguous in a while back, and finally had time to install the Pro grill I had sitting at my folks place since December. Put Lamin-X on the fog lights, still need to do the headlights. Since that photo did my badges in black. Have some CBI Off Road sliders coming. Still trying to talk myself into the TRD Supercharger haha.

Had Avid front/rear guards and sliders on my 2007. Such great gear. I need to get another rear bumper guard for my new truck. Should have taken it off before selling the 2007. Looks great on yours!
