@adio I wasn't sold on the color choices. I love the grey and I plan on lifting. I already ordered my SCS wheels so it would have been a waste.

OP great lookin truck, I am truly jealous of that color!!!

If you dont mind me asking, how much did you get it for out the door? I had one HELL of a sales experience from ventura toyota when i got my 2013 TRD OR. I would also suggest you NEVER EVER use their service department.

Nice colour, welcome to the site. Not sold on the flag. Not exactly a functional truck mod.

They gave it for me for MSRP 39,824. I have always had great experience with Ventura my family has been buying from them for about a decade, it's Oxnard I don't trust. Toyota Oxnard has had a TRD pro for over 3 months I assume the owner wants it as some kind of "garage ornament", I mean they do not even bother talking to me when I go there. Here is a pic of what they want for it.image.jpg

They told me they sale for this price all the time. I told them "Well why have you had it for 3months?".

Another thing to add to make a Tacoma more of a TRD pro is TRD shift knob and TRD pro floor mats haha.

As for functional truck mods... Well showing off your patriotism has nothing to do with your truck, it's a love for country thing, just like my "non functional" Marine Corps license plate frame is a pride thing.

yeah that sounds about right on price. Was tha 39.8k out the door, or before tax title n licence?

My ventura toyota sales experience was a CLASSIC bait and switch. Told them i want this truck as i pointed at it. They give me an offer, i say do better. they say a final number over a call when i got home. I go mark it sold. They went cool we got two of them ill mark the one in the back lot sold for you. Show up the next day, it was a base model 4x4.... the truck i pointed at and said i wanted was a TRD Off road v6 auto 4x4 ... they then tried to say oh sorry we priced the wrong truck the one you want is 2k more.... NOPE you are honoring your price idiots.

and ventura toyota service... SO MUCH LAWLS. Had the Driveline vibe tsb done. Provided my own angle finder as they ordered the wrong one. Then proceeded to spend an hour UNDER MY TRUCK AT THE DEALER WITH THE HEAD MECHANIC (yawn is his name) because he could not figure out how to read the tsb and measure the angles. During this time an oil change was being done and the oil change boy just about started my truck WITHOUT OIL IN IT!

I then proceeded to hand Yawn the parts list with the proper parts HIGHLIGHTED and CIRCLED to preform the TSB, and they ordered the wrong leaf springs.

And +1 to not even trusting oxnard toyota. I went to them to get the ECU reflash done, i showed up and the person that came out was like yea... you dont want us to reflash your ECU, we just did a truck last week and bricked the ECU which required us to order a whole ecu and replace it!!!

Before title, tax, fees and the added alarm, it was about 43k after everything. 8 weeks ago I told the dealer I want the TRD pro are you getting one? He said yes maybe 6-8 weeks. So I told him I have time, they pre approved me and I put a holding deposit with a simple contract. They told me 6 guys came in the following weeks, one even said he will pay cash. They told him sorry next one is sold.

You bought a brand new truck without researching which packages were available? That's a ballsy move, homes.
