I just traded in my F150 for a 2015 Tacoma 4X4 4.0L. I'm waiting to take delivery once the truck is shipped in from out of town and I was wondering what the first mods I should do are. I know I'll be taking a cut in power and torque from the 5.4 V8 and I'd like to make up as much of it as possible. What are the firs few things I should do? I've already ordered a 3" coil and AAL OME lift and stopped by the tire shop for a set of 275/70 ATs on new 17" wheels. What's my best option for adding some horses?

The only real way to substantially increase power is to get a supercharger. Congrats on the Tacoma. My advice is to hide your wallet from yourself now that you've found TW.

Thanx! That's GREAT advice. I just want to be sure I'm not lacking when occasionally towing (4100 lb boat and 3200 lb travel trailer). I've pulled both, fairly, with a '91 4runner and hope the Taco does a little bit better.

Not sure about your specific model but my 2013 DCSB TRD OR has a 6500lb towing capacity so you should probably be fine.

I opted for the towing package so I'll be right there at 6500 too.
