Drive line angles. Help needed

So I just figured out how much to drop the carrier bearing to get the center u joint angle to 0* after a 3 inch lift. Question is do I really want to drop the carrier bearing 2.4" to creat that 0* center u joint angle. I know the truck didn't come stock with that angle in the center so will it hurt or help to make it zero or should I just aim to get back to stock measurements.

I get that the tran output and pinion flange should we parallel but should I create a 0* center u joint angle or should I return the center u joint angle to where it was originally

So don't drop the carrier bearing 2.4"

 

So the working angle difference between the second and third u joint is 2* so OME carrier bearing drop should fix it right up

 

Trial and error, some guys use washers as spacers till they hit the right amount.
Also check your u-joints and carrier for play...

 

Just ordered OME carrier bearing drop kit. I also need a driveshaft spacer ASAP
