Just bought my first Tacoma yesterday and couldn't be more excited about starting to mod her out as my new Overland rig.

My last rig, 2013 4runner Trail, was a great rig but felt very heavy on the road and trail. Lacked power, wish they would of released a supercharger for it. Either way, this pushed me into finding something a bit lighter. Even with less HP I feel the Tacoma pulls much harder the the 4R. I can't wait to see what the supercharger adds down the road.

My choice is a 2015 White DCSB with the TRD offroad package and a manual gearbox. I've really missed the control a stick gives you.

Already removed the mud flaps and installed my group 31 battery tray. Any recommendations for cheap easy mods?

Managed to salvage some mods from the 4runner before the trade to transfer into the Tacoma with big plans to come...now to decide on a lift!

You traded a 4Runner for a tacoma? Lol I'm going through the opposite situation. I want a 4Runner trail but I love my tacoma so it is a hard situation. Anyways welcome!

It was a hard choice. The 4runner did great but felt heavy, bulky and really lacked power after adding some weight of gear and armor. I'm sure the Tacoma will do the same, at least I have options to get more power out of it. Minimal options for the 4runner. Lol
