    oh hay dere!

My name's Adam, and wanted to join here for future referance and support.

    Story:
My DD blazer started having too many problems for me to want to keep up with (didn't really like the truck) so started looking into a new truck. It was originally going to be a Colorado, but i found this while searching for a manual truck and was like 'hmm... tacoma... never heard of it!' :boink:

    Here she was...

Real nice looking little street truck, right!

Honestly i never knew much of these other than the famed Top Gear episode where they spend an hour trying to destroy an old Tacoma, lol!

Anyway, after a test drive, I pulled the trigger on her.

    06', 90000 miles! (she will make it another 100 i assume, right? ;) )
Mods: Bates exhaust, K&N intake, rain gaurds, and i think that's it!

I gotta say, it's in great shape and drives amazingly for a 10 year old truck! No creaks, rattles, engine runs smooth, clutch and gears are crisp! I'm really impressed.

    :sadviolin:bye bye blazer...

Anyway, I'm not new to the whole forum thing, I am a moderator on the CobaltSS network lol. Speaking of that, here is my 350+whp Cobalt! For those who may be interested who rock the TRD blower kits, its on a stock block besides modified crank and balance shaft delete, ported head, cams, bigger supercharger on a tiny pulley, ATI damper, E85, bigboy injectors, return style fuel system, full intake, exhaust, and a whole slew of other goodies all around the car. I make custom headlights on the side which helps pay the bills on some of it haha :D

anyway, just an into and hope to enjoy this truck for a while!

Only concern is getting around in the winter - any good suggestions for tires and how much sand is needed in the back to help with traction? RWD 6ft bed here.

    Thanks for reading!

Oh and guess i should add for anyone wondering, I plan to just leave this badboy stock (besides winter wheels) and probably make some retrofit headlights for it; i think the front end looks kinda goofy with those big chrome housings, they are just begging for some big ole projectors :D

Good deal! I think they will both look good next to eachother. Low tuner type vehicles. Cobalt is so much fun and this truck is also great fun
