Texas Tree Climbing Comp, always Sponsor and have a booth there selling climbing gear - ropes, carabiners, helmets, etc.

Fun time, you ought to come out Saturday. Winner goes to the Internationals - this year in Orlando in July.

International Comp and Conference will be in FW next year.

Honestly I have no idea what the road name was. But it had tons of little trails going off it into hidden campsites.
What area of broken arrow? I lived there for a while back in 2009-2010. Right off 71st and elm

I live close to 131st and County Line. What you are describing sounds like Holt road (though I know there are other trails there) - off of the main highway going to the park, before all the switch-backs going in the park (or after if leaving the park) - I've mainly hiked and back packed the Butterfield Trail and other trails as well, but did explore Holt Road for a little ways with the Taco on the last trip. Need to go back and go further on the trail - the Butterfield trail shares with Holt Road for a mile or so I've been on it backpacking a few times.

If I knew where you lived, I'd definitely stalked you :spy:. I would've called, but don't have your # (PM'd). Dropped some gear off at a couple customers, then scooted over Hwy 16 to 412 (I was looking for you) and on to Grand Lake to do some tree inspections. I'll catch you next time.

I lived there for quite a few years right behind Marlar's Cafeteria. Oh man do I miss that food.

Grew up just east in Mt. Holly. Small town between Magnolia and Eldorado.

Yeah, Marlars and Millers were both good! I think Millers closed. I had a couple of nephews that went to Mt Holly for a little while. The Flemens boys.

You should Sean - pretty area - about 2.5 hr from Tulsa. Though I'd make your reservations pretty quick - campsites fill up quick there and it's a 2-night min reservation for the weekend. My favorite campground there is "A". No utilities if you have a trailer, but great for tent camping - clean bathrooms and hot showers too.

Is anyone interested in my stock rear bumper? $50
I'm shipping the stock front bumper on a pallet with Fastenal to a guy in Northern Arkansas and there's plenty of room for the rear bumper, as well!

I just hiked Butterfield with a group of guys a few months ago. It was awesome but we started around 3pm day one and ended around 12:00pm day two! It was a "swooft" hike to say the least! We camped right by the river at the halfway point and it dropped into the 30's that night so the hammock was a little chilly!

Yep, I went to school with them.

Devil's Den looks amazing! My wife and I were talking about trying out Mount Nebo later this year....it should be interesting with a 3 year and 2 year old boys.

Yeeaahhh........that could be a challenge, but I'm a believer in taking the kiddos on adventures! Just do a short day hike with some swim stops or picnic. Devils Den has some really short trails that go to lookout points and turn around. Not to mention the park is pretty cool.

If anyone is interested in doing a little wheeling this weekend there will be an event out at Hot Springs ORV Park the whole weekend, Friday through Sunday. We will have a band and catered bbq dinner Saturday night followed by a raffle. Registering for the event is not mandatory but paying park dues is. Come on out and get the tires dirty, we'll be out rain or shine!
