I just purchased a used 2012 TRD Sport DCSB with 73,000 milles on it. I'm wanting to level the front with 5100's, but I'm curious at the correct setting. Right now I measure a little over a 2" difference between front and back. Would setting them at 1.75" be fine? New to Tacomas and have searched high and low for an answer, but most where for new vehicles or 05-11.

Here she is. Just debadged her a few days ago.

At that setting, you might sit a bit nose high. I have a 2012 dcsb sport 4x4 and added the billies at 5,000 miles. It sat a bit nose high at 1.75. Your springs may sag a bit due to age, but cannot confirm.

Well I know for a fact that I have 3+ overload. So, that's not an issue. I'm thinking they should sit nice and level at 1.75". Is 2" front to back normal for the mileage?

I took a few measurements from the ground to the fender...I will do it again from the hub center in a few. But, these are the measurements so far. I also had turned right into the parking spot this morning, so that could have given a slight lean to the left as well. Given even these numbers, I think 1.75" is fine.

    FL: 34.25" FR: 35"
    RL: 36.5" RR: 37"

The difference between FR, and FL is due to the "Taco Lean" not really an issue if it doesn't bother you, but for those with OCD, Toytec sells a 1/4" spacer to correct this.

Yeah, I've read enough so far to know that lol. I just meant the difference in the rear left to right mostly. But, the measurements show that the height is around 2" different.

For reference I just did 5100s all around with the front at .85. I went with that setting to maintain some rake as I tow a boat quite a bit. 7ff9015227f4bf0fe34b18cbf0d56aee_6ed9f48e47562bdce0d200711a9b5399b53d7524.jpg

Thanks for all who replied. I installed the 5100's with the front set to 1.75". It's dead on with only the front driver side being about a 1/4" off. I might throw a spacer in there eventually.

Here she is with new wheels as well...
