I got my weather stripping replaced and the problem is still there and I tried some WD-40 and that worked for maybe 10 miles but still no luck

I had a really loud wind noise from the rear access cab door on my side of the truck. It was both top and bottom corners. After reading here that someone made it go away by gluing the weatherstripping to the door, I started wondering whether the funky geometry of the rear door hinges make the stripping roll across the paint as the door shuts, which would peel it up a wee bit from the door and let air through.

Anyways I cleaned up the paint where any door weatherstripping contacts the body and then rubbed a cloth wet with Pledge there, because I'm cheap that way, and we all know how ridiculously slippery that stuff is when it dries. I figured it would let the seals slide into place instead of rolling up.

Anyways, that door has been quiet ever since... that was about 3 months ago.

    YMMV

Thank you all for the information and insight. I have a 2013 DCSB and it has squeaked from both front doors ever since I brought it home. Have tried silicone lubricant with no success. My 2000 taco with 186k miles never did this. very disappointing, especially since my brother works in manufacturing for Toyota.

I will have to say that this fix looks very promising. I didn't have any matte electric tape yesterday, so I did a trial run with some blue painter's tape on my passenger door. Like the thread above says, I just put tape on the upper half of the door itself on the metal portion. This is around the window frame portion where the metal part of the door makes contact with the seal on the cab. On my drive to work, my passenger door was completely silent. I'm going to pick up some tape on the way home and do both doors. On a side note, I still have the drip line installed as well. I'm not sure if I'm going to need to leave that in or not. If it works, I'll try to post some pics to clarify where I'm putting it.

Went to dealership today, had Drivers and Passengers window runs replaced (under warranty). Part#s 68151-04030 and 68141-04030. Notes on the invoice indicate original window runs were deformed (?). Still notice the squeak but it is not as prevalent. Cautiously optimistic....
Update 9/29: Window Run Replacement didn't work. Just as noisy as before. Plus, dealer didn't reassemble door panels correctly and now I have an additional rattle from the door panel. Argh

That's a coincidence. The dealer damaged my door panel taking out my drivers seat to replace a frayed sagging seat bottom. I had the panel replaced today, over a month from when the damage occurred. Oh and the seat back is now fraying just for information. My doors were quiet when it went in but now I have this nagging squeaky sound coming from top door edge and a rattle in the door panel itself that wasn't there? That ass hat I believe pushed the new panel on without resistance on the door. He instead let the hinges takes his push in force. I believe that caused the door edge squeak but have no clue what's causing door panel rattle without pulling it apart. I hate taking anything to dealers. On a brighter note, my truck was dropped off after the panel replacement to the upholstery shop to have my Katzkin's installed. At least my seat issues will be fixed permanently.
