I had to modify it a bit to make the Sundowns fit, does that count :p

Hah, thanks! It's just a dual 10" sealed box from supercrewsound.com that I modified a bit to clear the magnets on the subs. I though I was going to have to cut out a bit of the steel support beam on the back wall, but thankfully the channel on the box is a bit bigger than it needs to be so it still fit against the back wall perfectly :) I did have to spend a ton of time laying out the amps and wiring to get the look I wanted and keep it as clean as possible, but I'm super happy with the end result, especially considering that it's a prefab box not specifically built for those subs.

My 3rd box I built for my Type-R 12. Sealed sucks for the Type-R sub just an FYI to everyone.

Sorry for the terrible picture quality, I'll move the sun to a better place next time.

The box and amp rack are Mr Marv's. I took the stock plastic panels and cut out the inner cubby sections then carpeted the rest with the same stuff I used on the box and amp rack. I am really happy with how tidy everything turned out.

Great looking work everyone! Just curious, for those who use shallow mounts, how happy are you with them? I was looking at maybe getting one of those prefab boxes from Amazon that fit our trucks and go with a pair of 12" SKAR VD series. Currently, I have a single 12" sub (Rockford Fosgate Punch Stage 3-not the shallow mount version) and was thinking of going with something more stealthy, but don't want to lose any output that I already have with the single one.

99% of premade boxes SUCK! or you pay out the A$$ for JL boxes.
Custom boxes should range around 180-250 for a good Quality built one

You can find a premade box but they are cheap. If you do fiberglass the inside with a few layers and it helps out drasticlly. But the time it takes to do that its easier to just build a proper box.

Great looking box. Did you buy it or have a shop around Houston make it?

Just had this installed a few weeks ago. Finally got around to trimming the plastic to make it fit. 12" Rockford Fosgate T16c86190453d764e4d53392befd31e45a_c78d03b1ee864fe05aceadad0b25948551ecd3c0.jpg
