Dogs, cameras, alarm signs, alarms, smart home accessories that tell you when doors & windows are opened or when doors are locked or unlocked on your smart phone instantly. Then make sure you actually lock your doors & keep your garage doors closed. Reinforce all of your hinges and deadbolts. You'd be amazed at how quickly you can kick a front door in in most homes. One properly placed kick and the door blasts open w/o much resistance. Remove all of your hinge and deadbolt screws (usually 3/4") and replace them with 3" or longer high grade screws that go into the 2x4's instead of just the cheap molding/trim most anchor to. Vary your patterns of when you're home. Be friendly with your neighbors so they can keep an eye on your place for you. Layers of security is your best bet. A firearm should be your last course of action should they get through everything else which should be more than enough of a deterrent for most criminals who seek easy targets. Don't be an easy target would be my best advice to you.

Yes. I click my name then click signature and when the window pops up it only gives me the option to preview or save changes. That's it. Nothing to upload file like other threads. Maybe there is something I'm missing.

Upload the pic to your media gallery, get the forum embed code, then wrap the url tags to go to your build thread around it.

I wish we could have a dog at this house. I'm renting and we're not allowed pets in the lease......yet the back door had a doggy door.......which was how our house was broken into. B.S. IMO, but its time to move past that.

My idler pully bearing is seized and the belt snapped off. The cool weather put this out of mind.

    Need to fix mine soon.
