I think so. I ball parked it before I started. after selling the take off parts and some other stuff its more like 2k tho. also its all oem, if you went aftermarket its easily half the cost, but you also get what you pay for.

I'd hate to break your heart on having the only 2012+ SWB... I might just have to do the same thing, as that was the color I've been trying to find (with a wrecked front end) to do that very conversion and turn it into an offroad only rig... well once I did this and updated my build I figured it was only a matter of time until there were two, three, then more. but at least I got there first right?

if its an offroad rig you can go aftermarket on all those parts and do it for much less tho. I don't object to company.

 

Yeah, I wasn't going to do a full conversion. I actually got started on the idea because someone was selling a radiant red dcsb for a cheap price that had from end damage. Someone bought it up before I could though. So I resolved to find one in swb and do the build.

You're right, probably going to ditch the front bumper and go steel anyway, so that will save some cash

 

Came back from a meeting at work and pulled into my parking lot. Closest truck I have never seen, the next one is mine, in the distance is another speedway blue. There is also a Red Tacoma on the left in the distance and parked across from it is a white Tacoma. Other side of the building is where a coworker parks his speedway blue as well.
