    Is there a way to do multiple polls on threads? Like have a poll and once that one is closed, start up another

    hrm. current chrome on 8.1

    I'm getting the red dots with the number of updates in the upper right (I had 4 a few minutes ago) and no dot or number on the top of the page on the 'main' tab (where I also have 5 other tabs open).

    I click on 'alerts' and see the four updates, click on one to open that page, all four updates and the red dot vanish.

    Then, while I'm typing this, I get an update dot on the main tab at the top of my browser window with a 1 in it, for a 'right this second' update, but nothing over by the 'alert' button in the upper right.

    I just cleared my cache the other day, and java's updated....weird.
