Phillips LED Reverse lights

    These look interesting. Seems to me like the location of the light source (reflected light, lower in the bulb) more closely matches that of the stock bulb. That makes me think the reflector geometry of the tail light assembly would result in light going where we want it to go from a reverse light (down, not out, as other members have expressed when installing LED reverse bulbs).

    The LED in this bulb actually shines back toward the truck and is reflected by a cone out to the reflector on the assembly.

    Ha I was about to take the plunge today on the reverse lights but I grabbed the silver stars instead. I'm happy. Don't think they're brighter than stock but the back up camera seems to pick up the white light much better. So as far as the camera goes, I think the on screen image is better. I'll jump on those LED's one of these days.
