I went to east hawaii auto center, they didn't even check my tint, just took pics n checked horn, lights, n signals. Not even a test drive. Could try but that was last year not sure what changed. Or you can go lex Brodie's if Frankie is working tell em I sent you, he could probably hook you up

lol at dropping places and names on here. just put your front window down, make it inoperable and take it in. as long as drivers and passenger is in the down position, it can pass. you only need a windshield to pass safety check. if you dont have windows it cant have sharp edges/broken glass. the more you know…lol

has there been frames unsafe to leave there? what are you guys looking for on them and will lift or aftermarket parts make any difference if a frames rusted or unsafe?


I needa take my truck down but theres parts of the frame that had surface rust that I wirebrushed, naval jelly'd and then rustoleum'd. mostly bottom frame rail and front part. That bottom brace on the front is all mangled too…that actually does have rust scaling from that.

i already seen an 05 ex cab with the rear part of the frame scale rusting too…but thats a boat launcher.

 

you can go every where you want with your truck like that. more better spend the money on gears and rear locker. or better yet come help uncle set up the garage at the new house so trucks can be built. help with that and then can maybe get your truck cut up faster. im ordering a bunch of shit again and meant to ask you too if you wanted to order anything from/thru boss4x4. the last group buy I got a pallet. try check it out cause I would rather bundle up on shipping. im pretty much ready to close my order though if you need things so hurry. https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/boss-4x4-group-buy-may15-june-15.373776/
