How many ounces of chicken do u bruhs think this is? I haven't gotten a scale yet, but I'd say these 3 strips are 2 oz apiece, so 6 oz total. I eat 6 oz per night and I always assumed the gigantic frozen boneless skinless breasts were close to that, but these tenders cook so much faster. The strips are about half an inch thick, 4 inches long and about an inch wide. Thoughts?

Also did lower-a this evening. Finally got to put some weight on the squats today. I'd say my ankle is about 85-90% healed. Still can't go too low though…I can make it right to parallel before it starts to hurt. I can do a light jog, too.

    squats: 135x10, 185x10, 225x8, 315x2
    dumbbell lunges: 3 sets of 15, 14, 13 w/ 25 lb dumbbells
    lying leg curls: 3 sets of 14, 12, 12 @ 35, 30, 25 lbs per leg
    seated leg curls: 3 sets of 20, 18, 16 @ 80 lbs

I did that ab circuit I posted last week from Muscle & Fitness and it kicked my ass. It called for a circuit of 4 rounds and I made it 2. I've definitely been slacking in that dept.

    decline bench sit-ups: 20
    reverse crunches: 15
russian twists w/ 25 lb weight: 15 per side
hanging leg raise hold: 30 secs

Those hanging leg raise holds are no fucking joke.

Calves: (I was gonna do the same type of circuit for calves, but my ass was so tired from the ab circuit, I just kept it simple with 3 sets of standing and seated raises)

You think 4 will do it? I know my hormone-filled Great Value frozen breasts have to be around 6 oz and I tried to match that amount in tenders because the breasts take too long to cook. Here they are on my plate…how many ounces do you think that is? I really need to order a fucking scale.

    Figured it out (I think):

    - There are 15 tenders in the bag
    - 4 oz. = 1 serving
    - There are 10 4 oz. servings in the bag (40 oz. in the bag)
    - 40 oz. / 15 tenders = 2.6 oz per tender

    - My 3 tenders = 7.8 oz

I got a pretty decent scale for $15 from Walmart. Measures grams, ounces, pounds and fluids. Pretty nifty

I've got a couple buddies that work for a chicken plant here. I get boneless, skinless chicken breasts from them every couple months. 40 lbs at a time. They're measured out as 4 oz breasts, but some of them are definitely bigger than that. Got another 40 lbs coming tomorrow. Cooked my last 12 breasts last night.

Yeah, but when cooking, you only lose water-weight. If it's 7.8 oz raw, it's probably 6-7 oz cooked, but the only weight lost is from water being evaporated out of the chicken, which doesn't effect the calories or macros. If you have a glass of coke and remove the ice cubes, it's still the same amount of coke.

And, according to the USDA, the nutritional value on all meat sold uncooked pertains to the meat uncooked. My 40 oz bag of chicken uncooked contains 920 grams of protein. Cooked, it's the same amount of protein, although the overall weight went down, due to water evaporation.

never heard of them either but saw a store here in Dalton yesterday, thought it was online only :notsure:
Are those the Tyson frozen tenderloins? I usually throw a frozen bag in the crock pot once a week, but some taco seasoning over it and a glass of salsa and let it cook for 8-9h while at work...lasts for 4-5 meals

I guess Academy is a Southern thing; they're everywhere here. They're so cheap, too...much more superior than Dick's

Those are Tyson frozen tenderloins. I usually get the off-brand, which are the exact same thing, but cheaper, but they were sold out. I really need to get a crockpot because that sounds good as fuq

The cheapest I found were at Aldi I guess - and they are the same, just in a different bag.

This is how it looked cooked:
    upload_2015-5-28_8-21-13.jpg
    And on the plate:
    upload_2015-5-28_8-22-35.jpg

Prep time was 1.5min, cooked on low for 8+h and is like pulled chicken, all you need is a fork

Yea that's generally dinner for 3-4 days.

    1lb chicken
    1 cup brown rice
    1 broccoli
    1 cup taters

Lunch is usually the same minus the amount of chicken. Usually will sub in tuna/ lunch meat sandwich.

Prepping it all makes it easier to track what I'm eating and not spending an hour a day cooking everything
