Still thinking about a name for my tacoma. January I got rid of my 2000 tacoma due to rusty frame. I had a lot of plans for it but glad I didn't have the time to do them cause It'll hurt me In the end. But then luckily I got this 2001 toyota tacoma pretty much the exact same thing as my 2000 minus a lift and supercharger (which I tried to save but couldn't)

But the 2001 had a frame replacement and new engine roughly a 100k miles ago. A 1 owner who owned it for 13 years. a old (80 when he traded it) man. Carfax was clean aside from a minor animal collision (deer by the looks of it) so I took it with the money toyota gave me and walked out with $400 still.

4 months later doing some basic maintenance stuff oil change, spark plugs, maf cleaning, o2 sensor replacement.

Now I made a list for upgrades for her. Looking at everyone's builds for a year now for ideas.

For now it's mostly cosmetic and suspension and tire stuff then I'll go to engine and more internal upgrades. I'll have it set up from were I'm getting the items. This is just a list for now I don't have anything yet. If anyone has some experience with the items or know anything better for the price please let me know :)

That's how you do that lmao. I'm looking around 2.5"-3" suspension lift. But I'm looking for as much travel as possible to. I know that with the front I'm going to go slightly on the heavier side cause of the extra weight from lights and winch. I'd hate to add a diff drop, but I rather have it if the cv axles look to steep of a angle. I just want things tucked up and away. Try to keep it clean

That's almost exactly what I wanted... Forget the diff drop, it doesn't do much. CVs are cheap and last a while anyways.

Yeah, but I just don't like putting stress on things unless I intend to by wheeling :D
And I'm thinking on going long travel in the rear now

Got a thrush welded muffler installed, and got the tire rubbing to stop. Saving up the money for the whole suspension setup. Might take a little while till I get it cause I keep changing my mind on things. Lol :)

Man those tires are stuffed in there. Looks great, but I would think they rub like crazy off road?
