Just bought a new 2015 Taco V6 Double Cab Pre-Runner. Originally drove a 2010 Taco Double Cab TRD with Tow Package. Great looking truck. Great ride for a mid-size pick up, but couldn't work a deal with the used car manager. Wound up buying the new Taco for not much more than the overpriced 2010. Drove home on the freeway (vs. streets near dealer). Nearly bounced all the fillings out of my teeth due to harsh ride. Turns out the 2010 had a 3 leaf spring package. My 2015 has the 4 leaf package. Is there anyway of making the ride a little softer without hauling around the 2 x 80 lbs sacks of cement I got at Home Depot to make it rider smoother?

    Sorta thought so.
Only option left is remove one leaf (same as the 2010 TRD) or just drive around forever with 2 sacks of cement in black leaf bags. At least it's smooth ride.
    Thanks.

It should soften up a bit over time. Welcome to the site. You will find that the more you abuse and work the suspension the better off it rides. Plus you can always replace the rear leaf springs with an aftermarket option if you want.
