I've searched TW high & low and cannot find all the answers so here goes my questions.

    Info:
    2009 4WD TRD Sport
    Novice wrench turner
    82K miles (2nd owner, purchased at 78K)

According to the owners manual it states:
Propeller shafts Spider - Lithium base chassis grease, NLGI No.2
Slide Yoke - Molybdenum — disulfide lithium base chassis grease, NLGI No.2 or lithium base chassis grease, NLGI No.2

    1. Can I purchase an all in one grease for both applications?
    2. What are goods brands to use?
    3. Where are the zerk's located (specifically) on my truck?
    4. I also want to grease the slip joint, would the moly grease be my best option?

    TIA

    Same here.

And they are a pain to get to on the front shaft! Rear driveshaft is easy.

thanks guys, I've noticed my truck is jerking forward when I brake/sticking when I release and the solution sounds like greasing the slip joint.

I figure I'll grease everything while I'm at it.

I use grease that they use for the landing gear on F18 Jets, seems to work good.

That's your all in one solution. Some people swear by moly and will go straight for it but as long as you're greasing them regularly you should be fine. Just look for the lithium base, which most are, and NLGI 2. Mystik gets a lot of positive reviews on Bob Is The Oil Guy but it's really a matter of picking your flavor with the above specs.

I would agree with the above statement but I will add that the F18 is designed for carriers and therefore salty air. The grease has to withstand that. When it comes to aviation stuff the government doesn't cheap out...as much. It is still better than a generic tube of grease from your local parts store. Seeing as its made by Mobil its gotta be fairly decent.
