What's the preferred choice of the owners out there? Mine is shot and you can't see the pattern. Need to teach the wife how to drive a clutch again and she wants to see the pattern. Suggestions? Or any good ones for sale on here?

I got the TRD 6 speed ball off of Amazon for close to nothing due to so many points built up. It is close to about $53.. I love it but I'm not sure if would pay it for it

Where can I find one of these but with the 5 speed pattern? Currently in running this TRD one, but I'd prefer one like that.

Oh man that last one is sweet, and I've been checking a black one with red stitching and Trd on it on eBay and it's pretty cool too, has the pattern

I'm not real sure where you might find one. I found it originally on Toyota's website then went from there to see if i could find it cheaper. I like it a lot better than the original piece of junk leather one that fell apart with me

That's very nice of you. I'm looking for a little more flare though. Something that kind of pops off. Nothing weird though lol

Does anyone know where you could get one personalized? Thinking of something like a pool ball with my favorite college team.

Hated the stock shifter - it was like grabbing the back leg of a sheep (never did it myself, but just sayin....). The TRD is great - right size, and comfortable summer and winter.

Draw out the pattern on a small round piece of paper and tape it to the shift knob with clear scotch tape that will come off easy later. Once she finally learns you can take it off. In my honest opinion though, I dont think anybody should be learning by looking down at the pattern while driving. You should keep your eyes on the road especially on a manual where you have an extra step you need to do to stop the truck. Start off with some ground school first? Thankfully my wife already came equipped with this knowledge from the factory so I guess I got lucky?
