VOLANT CAI HELP?

    Hey gang I just installed a volant cold air intake on my 13' trd. I didn't get the scoop and my box has an opening for it ? I called them and the dude said it doesn't matter if it's plugged or not ? But doesn't that defeat the entire purpose of a enclosed intake ? Cause it can now suck in hot air Has anyone run into this ? And does it even matter ?

    Mine came with a rubber/plastic plug that went over it. They should send you one it kind of defeats the purpose of it.. I have asked numerous times for the decal that is suppose to be on my snorkel, and never received a reply form them !

    Run to home depot maybe...... They have those expanding plugs. Its rubber and has a wingnut on the end.... The more u turn the nut, the more the rubber expands.

    ARB bull bumper, warn 9000 with synthetic rope, icon CO's & 700lb coils, road armor rear bumper, dakars + Archive Garage shackle flip.
    I bought the same intake for my truck. It came with a cap for the hole. I ran it that way for a few days till my ram air for the core support came. Definately sounds a lot better with the ram air. Not sure what it gained me, but the butt dyno approves.
