Why not go OME all around? You could still use the OME shock with the Icon AAL. What's the point of having a higher performing shock in the rear vs. the front? Honestly, with the AAL, you might not need the shims and carrier drop. Use an angle finder and make sure the flange on the rear end and transfer case are parallel and that you're never more than 3 degrees across a universal joint. I had that same rear lift and never used either.

IMHO with the proper springs 5100's > OME. OME isn't know for the ride quality. Plus usually the 5100's with springs are a couple of bucks cheaper.

New upper a arms would help get your alignment in spec no matter what you put on. New upper a arms also help get extra down travel, but you'll only get additional down travel from the 6112 or a true coil over. Not that you need more down travel to crawl malls :).

Also, to be fair, aftermarket upper a arms usually need more maintenance. Camburgs don't have a uniball setup though IIRC so they shouldn't be as much work.

Thanks I only say Camburg's because I intend to add new UCA's with the lift and don't like SPC Light Racing UCA's

Icon, All Pro, and several other reputable outfits also make decent upper a arms. Icon uses a proprietary uniball size though which makes them more expensive in the long run and all pro is a standard uniball but that will mean more maintenance on your part over the camburgs.

Long and short I'd stick with the Camburgs for your needs.

Yup. Makes sense. Some people have to have uniballs though. Even on mall crawlers. More greasing makes them feel more real I guess :p

I got a 2.5 inch lift on the middle setting people with 4 runners getting near 4 inches of lift. You can get near three on the 4th setting and over on the fifth

It makes sense that there is conflict. It's not a true coil over so there's no on truck adjustment and the spring is a 600 lbs version IIRC. So depending upon your mods, how much they weight, and which version of the Tacoma you run your results will vary.

It is very nose high I have 06 OG rear end. I live in so cal so the chicks love it. And that is after a set of new 5100 in rear. I'm going to get an allpro standard pack and some 5165 probably here in the near future, pack is on back order.

However I think you will be happy with these and the suspension will get you close to 3 inches. since its not a threaded body you will probably end up somewhere a little below three on setting 4 or a little above on setting 5
