I looked and didn't find anything on here like this so I figured I would post a wright up on it.

    Things you will need:
    Hacksaw
    Halos
    Silicone to reseal the lights
May/May not need a heat gun
    Drill and drill bit

The halos i used were RGB 15 LED 100MM (~4") rings off eBay. They came with a remote control to control the brightness, colors, strobe mode and fade mode.

I have had these installed for about four months now with no issues.

First you will need to take the fogs out of the bumper. Since the fog light housing is nearly impossible to separate, you will need to use the hacksaw and cut around the back of the lens until you get to the black housing (careful not to cut through and into the reflector on the inside of the fogs).

I had some dust/residue on my reflector bowl, so while I was in there I went ahead and cleaned it (if you do this be careful on what you use to clean it, some products will take the shiny chrome off the bowl).

Next I used a drill and drill bit just big enough to drill a hole in the housing to fit the connector through. I drilled the hole into the existing vent circled in red.

Then I used dabs of clear silicone (JB weld, glue, etc. will work) around the inside of the bowl and pressed the halo ring in and let it set a bit to keep it in place.

When I put the housing back together, I removed as much of the old gray glue (visible in the above pic) as I could. Then I made a nice bead of clear silicone around and pressed the lens back on to the housing. Built up silicone on the back also where I drilled the opening for the connector to pass through. Making sure everything is sealed is key.

Here is a pic with the light back together

Finally, just put the fogs back in the bumper. plugged everything together that came with the halo kit..mounted the control box behind the grill and hid the IR sensor for the remote on the grill so it would be easy to change the colors with the remote. And then i just enjoyed them..

Seems pretty self explainitory but thanks for the write up. I ordered ccfl halos because that's what's in my headlights. Should be in this week and I will be doing this soon.
