Still zero wheel bearing issues with timken unit bearings.

 

Guess I'll be going with those, mines starting to go out

 

I filled the cavity where the wheel speed sensor is with grease (disabled ABS) and greased the outer seal for some extra mud/water protection. I'm curious to see if you have mud in yours when you get them apart.

Got the flares back on today....kinda. there are a couple broken bridges and some clips that just don't feel tight. There may be some epoxy in the future

 

Why even bother with the flares? You'll just rip them off on the trail like I've seen many times.

 

Cause I really like the way they look mostly. If the rip off, I'll take them off and just paint the area under them black. Untill then, they can stay.

 

So originally I thought this would be easier with LT but after seeing @AaronArf 's truck in Moab Im thinking twice... At least with +2 kit that is, 35s hit the top of the inner fender...

 

I've wore the paint off mine already with no LT.

 

It would be different but I don't think it would necessarily be easier. You'd change what gets trimmed and how much, but still a lot of cutting. With LT I think there would be less firewall cutting and more of the fender aprons. Of course that's just a guess. Of course you'd also need glass fenders

Look up marks build. He had 2" all pro kit and cut to clear his 37s

This thread is good. It's as good as it is dangerous. Good knowledge and experience, dangerous for me as the more I read and follow the more desire I have to cut my truck up.

I think it could be done without glass, but definitely would require moving stuff under the hood and remaking your inner fender.
