It is not very loud, you can definitely hear it in the cab, but it is not as loud as the flowmasters or magnaflow mufflers posted. Inside or outside the truck, it just has a really nice burble! :D

ok so I listened to all of the videos and I decided on the Magnaflow 10425 for my 2007 2.7L taco. That being said, I had a Borla exhaust tip installed (that the local shop had just taken off of a Camaro, which was FREE) turned down between the cab and the rear axle. This sucker is LOUD! More so than I thought it would be. It is an attention getter, but I hope it does what everyone says and quietens a little bit. I really enjoy it in town but I have a 101 mile round trip to work and back, and at 70 mph, the cabin drone can be a bit overwhelming. If it doesn't then I may have to go back to the shop and get the pipe to stretch a bit further back to kill some of the cabin rattling drone. It is an awesome setup though. At Amazon now the muffler is $68 on sale and it cost me $45 to get it installed! a sweet deal so far.

    Wow that sounds really good.
Thanks for taking the time to get the video and upload it,

Question for you, How much cutting and welding had to be done and how much of the TRD exhaust did you use?
In other words is the TRD exhaust the same for an AC and DC, as long as the DC is a short bed?
I doubt Toyota would place the cat back flanges in the same place for both 4cyl and 6cyl engines.

    Thanks,

Thanks, and no problem. I am really enjoying the sound still after a few months of having it on the truck.

It was right around 2' that was cut off the front pipe coming from the cat. converter. The rest of the system is stock, the only other thing is the last hanger, since I bought a exhaust for a 2014 Tacoma, the last hanger near the tail pipe needs to be bent 90 degrees to meet with the hanger on older trucks. A another note, since the system, again, was for a newer truck, the flange was a ball and socket type, and my truck had a flat flange, that's the only reason I had it welded to the cat. converter.

Im actually a big fan of the the stock exhaust. Its not very loud and makes it much less "ricer" at high revs than any aftermarket exhaust, in my opinion. Here is a clip I took when I was testing out my new GoPro

Just curious does anyone have the Magnaflow 15240 on their truck with stock header and cats?
