I ran a spacer lift, with TRD rear springs and AAL for close to 4-5 years over 50,000 miles (think was even from Toytec) , yea it was rougher but it did the job, never had any issues. now that wheelin the truck more went with the OME kit and yes much much better ride, but also alot more pricey.

Ok this is my last question on the topic (well, we all know it won't be). If I was to do 5100's upfront and leave the back as is, This would level the truck? I could set them at 1.25" and be all good, right? Ok - so since the back is already higher, and by the looks of it has much more room for a bigger tire than the front, I should be able to run the size I want by just leveling? (285/75R17) I saw another post where the truck was running level with just the 5100's up front and was able to get a bigger tire but had 16s instead of 17s so I'm wondering if it would work for my rig the same? I would also do the wheel spacers but I'm not sure if that allows fora bigger tire or not, I just like the stance with the shoe sticking out a bit from the frame.

Yea you could probably get away with 0.85" on the 5100 to level it. Honestly I like some rake, when you load the bed it levels out and your headlights aren't shining into the sky. As far as bigger tires Yea you could go to a bigger size, I just don't know how big.

I think I just need to take it in steps. I kind of like some of the trucks I've seen that run a smaller tire with a level or small lift. It kind of gives it the appearance that it's lifted more than it is. I think I'll do the spacers first to poke out the shoes a bit and then get the billies up front after a while and level it out. When it comes time to get tires I can leave it level and play with tire size and if I want bigger I can get an AAL and adjust the billy to fit.

    Man...The mod bug. It's real.

I'd looked for a second, hadn't decided on one yet. Right now I'm looking at making a magnetic mount.
