You say it rolled? Any dmg to the cat,02s, map sensors, electrical? Vaccume lines? It runs and then dies or run and little throttle kills it, id say mixture is off.

Not a bad pick up for $250. Yeah id just give everthing an once over in the engine, like hoses, lines and electrial. Also check your O2s in the exhause make sure everthing is plugged in. Being a 99 and sitting some of the hoses could of be old and starting to have hair line cracks. This could casue you to die. pop off the fuel line at the motor and grab a bucket, see if you have constant flow of fuel. If the filter was clogged then you might have a problem further up the line.

Yeah, already did the basics. Checked fuel pressure and cleared the lines as well as the fuel rails. From what ive read the p1300 code will cause the ecm to cut off the injector pulse so it doesnt drop raw fuel into the cat if the coils stop firing.

Welcome back OP. Good luck with your project. If you can't get it running you should be able to part it out for more than the $250 you paid for it...

I got that igniter. Double check the number of contacts. My truck ran fine until frame rusted in half.

    $35? I got the shipping.

    Intake, exhaust, lift. Typical stuff.
All I got for you. Recommend you make a new post in the 1st gen section for better assistance.

The P1300 code is for the ignition coil No.1 and is set when there is no IGF signal to the ECM during engine operation.
    - Ignition Coil No. 1 harness is open or shorted
    - Ignition Coil No. 1 circuit poor electrical connection
    - Faulty Ignition Coil No. 1
    - Faulty Engine Control Module (ECM)

Went through the pdf on here and checked all my wires for breaks and shorts and everything checked out. I took the ecm out and part and looks like it has water damage on about a 4th of it so im going to order one tomorrow and see what it does.

The ECM under the dash? Aren't those close to a grand to buy?

wow, so apparently you can't get the 99 V6 4x4 tacoma ECM anymore from anywhere. I was hoping i could order it from work and take it back if it didn't work. Yeah no... luckly i found one on ebay so hopefully this will fix the problem. Im about to take the tires off and turn this into a shooting range truck.
