Mods = Aftermarket stereo/CD player; factory paint matching fiberglass topper....otherwise it's stock, loaded with all the buttons, I'm owner #2, it was 4 yrs old with 60K when I got it, now has 200,000 WELL-Maintained miles on it, runs like a champ, cold A/C, I love it & it'd take a pretty good pile of $$$ for me to get rid of it.....hope I still have it at 300K!!!
    2001 Pre-Runner_3.4 V6_200K....
Been losing a little antifreeze, just enough to require toping off the resovoir weekly-ish, but getting more frequent.
While looking from the front of the vehicle in that little space between the timing belt cover and the air intake (like you're looking at the front/driver-side fuel injector), coolant is pooled in the low spots of the intake manifold....only on the driver-side tho.
Can't tell how far back towards the firewall that the water is pooled, can't see much past the front injector area and I'll have to take the air intake off to see the whole length of the manifold. I think the temp sending unit is on the other/passenger side of the manifold, so it's probably not that.....anyone got any advice?
    What's under there to leak?
    Thx

Check all coolant hoses, especially the ones coming from the throttle body. I believe there are two going to the throttle body for the IAC valve. Check there first. You may have to take a air compressor and spray the coolant out, then top off the coolant, start engine and let it run while keeping an eye on everything. As much coolant as you say your loosing it should only take a few minutes to see where its coming from.

Thx for the reply, turned out to be the intake gasket.
You'll have that sometimes with 15 years and 195k.....but it's cool, beats the hell out of a truck payment....just love this little truck!
