What's up everyone, I just bought a 2013 4wd from a dealer that the previous owner modded a little. I know nothing about lifts and all the technical truck stuff. I'm curious if there is a tacoma expert around Fort Worth that would be willing to check out my truck and answer questions about suspension and what not.
Also, looking for a white truck cap, any advice, should I look for a used one or bite the bullet and go to dfw camper corral?
Anyone use a bed mat? I'm looking for a tough rubber bed mat so the dogs don't slide around in the back. Where do I get one that's durable?
    Would appreciate the help!

    Too few to list.
Not in TX but you can have a dealership match online price for the oem bed mat which should be about $90.

I just bought my bed mat from Toyota of Dallas for $85. That's about as good as I've seen, price-wise.

Buy through camelback if they can ship for free and avoid sales tax. I bought my grill and bedmat the same time to get free shipping.

Check craigslist. They're out there but far and few in between.

Take pics of the suspension is you think the previous owner modded it, someone should be able to tell what is done to it.

Snap pictures of the current suspension and questions will be answered. Keep checking on Craigslist for a camper shell so you don't have to bite the bullet. Might take a year but worth the wait. Check surrounding states also because white campers are very attainable.

Photo above shows what I think to be an issue...from the passenger side wheel looks a little tilted in. The other doesn't. Hard to tell in the photos but more apparent in person. Red represents what it looks like and green is what I think it should be or closer to.

Maybe everything is stock except for tires? The ride is little rough so I assumed the suspension had been messed with...maybe just tires (BFG rugged terrain 285's)
Also, look how close the upper arm control is to the tire, it has marks where it rubs or maybe rubbed at some point.

Some flags and center console divider... lots of things on the wanted list.
You have a spacer lift. It's the cheapest type of lift you can get, and made for people who mostly street there trucks. Yes, people offroad them, but sometimes it ends up bad.

Without seeing the rear (leaf springs) I am sure you have a small block back there between the axle and the springs.

Are you looking to upgrade? What is your price point? If you want a shell on the back, most would recommend new springs that will hold the extra weight for a long period of time.

If you want to keep it inexpensive... look up Bilstein 5100's. Set it at 2.5" or so using stock coils. Find an AAL for the rear. You will be set, and better than your spacers.

Sounds good, I personally like the look of slight rake. Would this still work?
Also, any advice on the wheel angle from the first pic I posted?

Alignment might be off. After you do your suspension you will need an alignment. My recommendation would be to get it all done in a day or two. Or take it to a shop to do it if you aren't mechanically inclined. If you stick with a 3" lift though, you might want to consider getting new UCA's.

And is your rake high in front, low in back?

Right now I'm pretty even, but I need to account for the topper and any sag that comes with it,
I could do the bilsteins and aal's and adjust when I get the topper
