FRONT SUSPENSION LOWER BALL JOINT

    2002 Tacoma 4x4 Dbl cab 3.4 v6 Auto Trans
    KN cold air intake, Fox 2.0 coil over with 3" lift, 1"front diff drop, 285/75/16 TKO2 w/1.25" spacers,
    This may have been covered previously but has anyone heard of a recall for or had problems with the front suspension lower ball joint? I have an '02 dbl cab 4x4. I just read about this on Motor Trend.

    Yeah pretty sure there was a recall, but don't wait until you drop one going down the road , trust me you'll be changing your shorts haha....

    Toytech ultimate lift kit, Dakar leaf pack, LR upper control arms, K&N cold air intake, CBI front bumper
    there was a recall at one point for them. If you call your local Toyota service department they can look and see if your truck qualifies by you VIN. My truck did not, so I ended up replacing them both myself.

    • I digress, regardless if you fall under a recall or not , for piece of mind just replace your lowers bro' mine dropped out just pulling out of my drive way & Iliterally almost shit my pants, theres a long ti me member here who dropped one on the freeway going 70mph & only thru dumbass luck didn't suffer catastrophic injury to himself or anyone around him...
