Well, I finally got below 186. Every week for the past 4-5 weeks, I'd start out at 186 and after my weekend of drinking and eating like crap, I'd be up to 189ish. Ate perfect all weekend and didn't drink a drop and weighed in at 185 this morning. I even went and hung out at the pool at my friend's house (where we party every Saturday) and just drank water the whole time. My friends were giving me so much shit, but I stuck with it. I started looking at it from a weekly basis: at around a 400 calorie deficit, I'd need to be down 2800 calories every 7 days. I'd double that on a Saturday just from booze. Now I know why alcohol and low bodyfat are enemies…who woulda guessed?!

Also, I went to snap city on deadlifts yesterday. I was on my last set and on my very last pull, I arched my back…#feelsbadman

I am on a work function this week in Kansas City, so my diet is undoubtedly gonna get fucked. However, I weighed in at 201 exactly this morning. I think imma get sub 200 in the next couple weeks which will be the first time in almost 8 years

#1,I try to eat a structured diet..I eat pretty much the same thing for my first 2 meals during the workweek so I just can't make a total pig of myself at dinner.

2, I occasionally eat what I want when I want but it's more how much I eat.

On another note, I gained weight back to 195 recently which has me fucking furious! I'll admit I've not done my cardio religiously the past couple of weeks but I've stuck to lifting 6-7 out of 7 days so I'm still getting exercise. I don't drink so that isn't the issue.

    Fuck my life.....

I made my first tweak to my diet yesterday...I got sick of black beans every night for dinner and it just so happens that Honey Nut Cheerios have nearly identical macros :D

    Wrecked!
Holly crap, there is a shit ton of pages in this thread.
I just started back at the gym.
    Goals loosing the beer belly.
    Gaining some muscle.
I was always a slim and in shape guy until I hit my 30's and quite smoking.
I have just been doing core workouts, cardio and some heavy weight training.
So far one month in with no weight loss, just building muscle and loosing a few inches on the waste. I need to get into a good routine to keep me going.

Does anyone eat frozen tilapia? I'm thinking about going and buying a bag after work today for the days I don't want chicken. The macros are basically identical:

    chicken (6 oz): 165 calories, 35 g protein, 0 g carbs, 2 g fat
    tilapia (6 oz): 150 calories, 30 g protein, 0 g carbs, 4 g fat

I think it'd be a nice change every other night or so.

I just picked up one of these at work last night. They were discontinued this month so it only cost me about $17, thought I would try it for that price. Looks like a preworkout fat burner combo.0601151702.jpg 0601151702a.jpg 0601151702b.jpg

Ain't nobody got time for that! My favorite part of chicken tenders and thin slices of fish is I can have them cooked and eaten in less than 15 mins.

I ended up getting salmon. It's more expensive, but it's got more omegas, protein, and it actually tastes good
