Based upon these pictures and some measurements I have found of your model King's (25001-119), I have determined your extended height is 21.687", your collapsed height is 16.750". Your allowable stroke on these coilovers before the spring perch is 4.937. If the perch really is .250" (1/4") then your overall new collapsed height is 17" flat. Assuming the 2x1 suspension travel theory on your setup (which is what it is on stock travel Taco's, you guys as well I would take a highly ventured educated guess) your final allowable travel on the setup is 9.374 " (4.687x2).. I want to know how you lost over 2.4xx" worth of travel after adding in bumps and the shocks?!

Adding the bump alone puts your setup right at 10.375" if I read your measurements correctly on the last page. So you went from 11.750" wheel travel to 10.375 wheel travel. A full 1.375" of wheel travel lost just from installing bumps... I don't understand why or how you lost so much?

I assume you are referring to the 11.75 from the below post, that was without the shock in, just checking the travel of the arms and CVs, which is well beyond the shock's ability, a shorter collapsed length is the only thing that will fix that. The bumps are not taking any appreciable amount of travel out, just setting the limit the the shaft length, where are you getting that?Bumped and strapped should be right at 9.5", which is the consensus on MT travel.

I do have some more pics I took this past week, will post them up once I go through all my pics.

All squared away and added an ARB

Thanks Ryan, nice meeting you and your wife. Grease will be flowing this week for sure.

LOL, great week gents, a pre-RT trip should become an annual tradition and explore some of the less traveled roads out there.

    21.9-16.37=5.53

    4.625 bump pad to frame
If its a shorter collapsed length thats needed then as it appears, custom non OE is the way to go to get more travel out of these trucks. :)

Yes, except I would need to tub, as I kiss the sheet metal as it is. Not worth the effort for another .5" of travel. 35's would be even worse, and I have a 1" BL already.

I really don't think superbumps are the way to go if you are setting up a max effort mid travel setup. The problem with them is that even at full compression they are very pliable and will not stop over extension of the coilovers if stuffed in too hard. Ask me how I know. ;) that's actually what prompted me to go hydro.

    A 1" BL? Bud Light? :D

Bonus! Was just about to pull the trigger on a compressor, and browsed ECGS' website, and they are offering the free compressor with the purchase of the locker, so I have a free compressor en route! Glad I checked, not sure why they didn't send it with the diff.

the retainer plate that holds that bearing in. got impatient and didnt pull the snap ring off since i dont have pliers yet and tried to press the bearing out. well that plate is held in by 4bolts and i didnt know since there is a huge ass gear in the way. to remove the gear and all u ahve to remove the snap ring to get to the plate.

Locked indeed, kinda pissed they didn't tell me about this, but stoked I saved $170! Going to just send the old one back I think for the refund, they said I didn't even need the flange Mark scored from it.

I think you have to give them credit for honoring the promotion after you made the purchase without knowing about it.
did you have to fight with them about it?
    if not, good on them

Nope, no issues, I just need to pay for shipping.

Them: I assume you don't want that sent to Moab, right?
Me: I sure as hell hope to never have anything shipped to Moab again!
