Yeah long travel would be cheaper then that white DC SAS I saw. That thing was a beast. And the $$$$ to do something like that. Yes long travel is expensive too. Just about anything where fabrication is involved really drives up the price. Good luck either way. I'll be watching.

I didn't say leafs were more difficult to setup than links nor more expensive...and you didn't say the opposite. You said you don't need the headache.
IMO, leafs are a headache. Yes links are more work in the beginning, but far less in the long run. Don't have to worry about leafs flattening out, linear spring rate instead of progressive, easier to shock tune, don't have to dick with bushings tearing and failing all the effing time...I could go on if you like.

how about lack of moving parts, less link joints to fail or work loose? less links to bend or land on. like I said before, money is an object here. leafs are all I personally would need. shock tuning is very minimal on the list of important things to me if I were to throw an axle under it. not meant to go fast if I were to go that route.

Use heims instead of the ballistic joint shit and you won't have to worry about that. Hell if I ever link my rear, it will be a uniball up front and heim in the rear. Easy peasy maintenance.
If you're bending links...you built shitty links. Good links also work as sliders. ;)

Doing a SAS and using leaf springs is like...like...getting the most phenomenal blow job, and right when you're about to blow your load the bitch pulls it out of her mouth and finishes with her hand.

Hell no, lol. I had a tough time finding one to even look at. They sell so fast once they are advertised. Plus Stevinson would've stuck it to me. Great place to service your car, not purchase imo. Found this one at go subaru.

Did alot of welding today.... This is on my tundra. lca bushings were siezed. Cut the arms out and pressed out the bushings. Welded straps onto arms to gusset the bushing eyelets. Don't wanna have a second Gen oops happen lol

Then straightened a few bent tabs back and welded behind them. They will never bend again. Came out sweet, ready for a lift when i replenish my funds :bananadead:
