Annual OR/WA TSF Camping and Wheeling Shindig

Seriously wish this meet was a couple days later!

 

Put me down as a most likely, arrive friday, blue trails.. No locker but will (should) have sliders and rear HC by then

 

Yay more tacos is ways fun, plus we have a good time at camp. Also, this is a family friendly event. We've had kids in the past, so if anyone has kids don't feel afraid to bring them.

 

Getting back to updating the first thread. I was going to proof read it all over but I want to play some games tonight on the 'pooter.

Just remembered I need a new OHV Permit...

I called 1-800-551-6949 (OR Parks & Rec) and spoke to the raspy-voiced Gretchen, who I can only imagine looks like this:


She was more than helpful and $10 later, I have my permit on the way to me

Long story short, don't forget yer permits folks!!!
(there are a few different places you can pick them up in/around TSF, along with good maps of the area)

 

Ohh I would have forgot thank you! Is there a ranger station on the way i can stop at?

 

You can either call and talk to Gretchen, or try to pick one up at one of the locations on the way, Chickenmunga has a link in the OP (and some other important/useful info.)

 

If i come, I may be bringing a jeep buddy with me. He drove from ks into the area for work.

 

I might be bringing my brother...he's been on a few outings w/ us, but he has yet to experience TSF.

 

If he gets bored with us and wants to do his own thing as well, there's supposed to be some pretty serious bike trails.

 

Good thinking! He hasn't committed for sure, but I'll see if he wants to throw his bike in the back just in case.

 

Well boo if this was the week after i could have come! But i get back from San Diego on the 19th. Would be up for a later meet though!

 

So doesn't look like ill have a rear HC or sliders by then (sliders ship with the bumper)... I was told by end of next week it will ship but its the third time i've been told when its supposed to be ready so who knows... Maybe sliders but probably not bumper.

 

Soooooo, fyi to everyone, that weekend there is a huge poker run at tsf. Not sure if this changes our plans?

 

I'm sure it does. I vote changing the date to the weekend of 7/10.

 

Yeah im going to have to back out.. Bumper and sliders won't be on the truck before then and Ill probably make drawers for the back that weekend :/

 

Dammit, I should have remembered that there's one that usually happens around then. They effectively monopolize the whole place.

On 7/10 you have the Jolly Jeepers. I don't know how much space they plan to consume.
