Looking at retrofitting my headlights with LEDs. I was also going to change out my housings since they are cracked. My question is there a specific type headlight housing (projector ornon projector) that goes with the LEDs? I know there are for HIDs, but wasn't sure if LED's were different. I searched, but couldn't find a clear cut answers. Thanks.

There are no retrofits available for LEDs. The best housing to use them in would be HID projectors, but it won't be an ideal light pattern.

I used LEDs in the stock housing (2014) and have a perfect cutoff.

I have yet to see any wall shots of LEDs in reflectors with perfect cutoff. All of them have some scattering, which translates to glare. In projectors, there's barely any scattering but the beam pattern is off.

I'd love to see one made to create the proper cutoff. I'd be interested seeing that it would light up instantly and not have to wait for it to warm up like HID's. Andrew from TRS is the only one I know of that started a project like this but the plans on it changed.

No one has flashed me yet. And if they do then I have some Rigid Duallys to enlighten them with.
