just get PC hardware for less money and enjoy superior performance and the ability to do everything else a PC does at the same time

 

That is the next step anyway. My laptop is starting to bite the bullet... I need to get something in the works to back it up finally.

 

We're at a bit of a hardware plateau right now. Component-level hardware is dirt cheap for the performance. You'd be amazed at how beefy a tower you can build way, way under a grand nowadays.

Even 5-600 can build a pretty capable gaming rig. I mean a serious gaming rig too.

Dude forreal, i thought NV was gonna blow my fallout 3 away but ill still take F3 over NV anyday of the week.
Even tho NV had the sickest guns (and Gambling), F3 nailed post apocalyptic D.C. feel. F4 seems like its gonna wow alot of ppl, i just want to be able to get a perk every level like in F3 unlike NV (which was gay that there was 50 lvls and you could only have 25 perks).

 

Exactly!! You guys remember people getting their panties in a bunch because of the artwork of the capital building being destroyed? I can't remember their exact argument was.

i cant remember the arguement but that was the craziest battlezone in the game!!! coming from the washington monument, having to go through or around the trenches FILLED with like 30 super mutants, lets not forget talon company fighting to take back the capitol building. Meanwhile youre getting shot at from everywhere. then you get inside and what do you see? a behemoth! and talon mercs with heavy weapons. My favortie thing to do in that situation is to don the CHinese stealth armor + Jingwei's shock sword+ ninja perk=invisible personification of post apocalyptic one hit death

Damn gov't networks... I can't go back and look at any of the FO3 Wikis right now. I forgot WAY too much about that game. I do know I used a lot of rocket launchers in that behemoth area...

Haha nice! That was for me anyway the most memorable portion of the game. Blowing up Megaton was fun also. I still have a folder on my work computer dedicated to F3 with maps, tips and such. I'm going to have to figure out a schedule to split Destiny and Fallout game time.

i gave up on destiny after i beat crota, and ive always wanted a pc just to mod fallout

 

See, I couldn't remember. I do know you could pick up the chick as a partner though. She was good with that rifle, just had shit for health.

i loved glitching the follower cap in F3, i had Charon, star paladin cross, fawkes, and dog meat on my team. total overkill

 

A buddy was asking me if I was going to build a rig. Yes it would be fun to mod fallout but I recently bought the Xbone and there is no way I could justify building a rig, talking my wife into it and have time to enjoy both. 7 years ago maybe but I just can't do it now. I'm still grinding along in Destiny and enjoy it. When it get's monotonous I'll put it down.
