The Dirt Design Kit uses the 3.5+ Total Chaos axles, they are very nice, heat treated for strength, and are actually pretty cheap as far as upgraded axles go. 1.5 years of hard off-roading later and they are still working very well.

    That is right!

I released a Kickstarter project to open pre-orders for our new Mob Mount Switch.

If you have seen the mounts I make, they just got better. Pre-order on our Kickstarter page if you want one, supplies are limited for a good deal and they will go fast!

    Thank you all,

    Joel

Been working on the truck! Doing a refresh on the kit to fix some little issues. Replacing some pivots and servicing some shocks.

I picked up five ko2s so I don't slip off the road and die this year when it starts raining!

Also got into the rear diff, blew up the spider gears and wore into a few other parts. I'm having some parts replaced and a Detroit locker added in. I'm excited to have some fun with the locker :woot:

Why a Detroit instead of an ARB? Just out of curiosity of course.

ARB set up is more expensive. I didn't want to fuss with a compressor and air lines. They make a great product, don't get me wrong, but its not for me. The truck is not daily driven and I would rather have a full time locker, it will take some getting used too but it doesn't snow or rain here so I won't be in any real danger.

Feelin it, shes back to life and is a rad daily driver right now.

Got the kit all fixed up, loose pivots replaced, squeak delete mod, fixed some minor bugs, new KO2s are AMAZING :woot: so quiet, smooth, and grippy.
Exhaust is getting updated soon to 3" and a Flowmaster 10 series so you can actually hear the headders, retint the back window, and fix some more small electoral bugs so I can get her back to a Mini Luxo runner.

Love your build! Hopefully I can get my truck to this point in a couple years. On a side note I just moved to Flagstaff and if you ever get the chance to mountain bike down in AZ definitely come check out Sedona and Flag. Awesome trails. How did you like your Dakine bike pad is it worth it?

    Thank you!
It is all a process with due time. I attacked this step by step, and breaking down the cost to small chunks no matter how small, this truck has been in the build process for almost two years and there is no real end in sight.

Mountain biking in AZ looks rad! A mtb/off-road/camping trip there is on my bucket list for sure. The Dakine pad is a must if you are moving bikes around frequently. There is no easier way to transport 1-5 bikes when going on a road trip or a shuttle day with the homies.
