when you mount an LED pod to a cbi ditch light can you mount it facing to side of the road as opposed to straight forward? Thanks!

I am actually selling the cbi brackets and yes you can ajust them 360 degrees. So you can face them on the sides

Yeah, only limited by the length of the power wire and depending on the orientation and size of your light pod it may affect the hood at the full open position. I know with my Rigid's it is very close but they don't touch when facing forward.
