Such a wild place, cool photos. I've gotta get the truck out there someday.

How'd yours do? going again would you change anything? bring anything different?

My truck did amazing actually. These ST Maxx tires were freaking awesome, I can't say enough about them. I did find out I need stiffer springs, the 887s just aren't up to the additional weight.

I'm planning on heading back to Moab in late August. As far as what I learned... Bring more baby wipes for whores baths... Lol Less clothes, a better cooler or ARB fridge, onboard air, stop more frequently for pictures, don't underestimate fuel budget, do the 12v constant on mod. Oh and a solar shower!

As far as the truck goes... Gonna sell the 887's and get some extended travel coilovers, might do a u-bolt flip and different shocks in the rear. Overall I am impressed and mostly satisfied with my trucks performance. For a 3200 mile trip with lots of off-roading she did great. Lots of new squeaks! Lol

Did you get a steel or aluminum front bumper? And do you have the 90021 front shocks or the 90000 fronts?

Is the front end noticeably sagging because of the bumper?

You pretty much nailed it for any trip. The top thing on my list now is a fridge, but I think the idea will collect dust for a bit. I do have plans on ordering a Pelfrey front this winter tho, think Im going aluminum.

Truck looks great! And glad to hear someone loving the Maxxs as much as I do!

Thanks! It was an awesome trip.

@300AACTaco Its not noticeably sagging but the front end feels "squishy" and it feels overworked off road. I'm pretty sure I hit my bump stops a couple times.

It's been great so far, but I haven't had it long. It did awesome in MOAB. I like it because it was pretty cheap, small, and only has 3 knobs. :D

Thats why I liked it so much!! Hardly any knobs to mess with unlike the old style CB's.. Im thinking of the Uniden Bearcat 980, modern looking but not to flashy, plus only 2 knobs :D

I thought about that one too, but it cost 4x what my 510 cost me. If this one shits the bed I might go with something more spendy but so far so good. I thought about the 520xl as well but it has more knobs. lol

Ohh yeah that is true.. My thinking for truck parts goes, "I want the best there is so it has the least possibility of breaking and needing to be replaced". Plus Im competitive that way, need to have better parts than my friends.. haha

lol I am that way to a point, but I have a couple friends that have run the 510XL for years and never had an issue.
