wheels spacers and gas mileage lossses

    So while I do not think the act of putting on wheel spacers reduces your gas mileage because of weight, I am wondering if the wheels sticking out of the wheel well is casuing a loss of MPG. I recently put some wheel spacers on my 98 and swaped out a 15' wheel for a 17' along with adding a OME lift kit to the front. Thoughts on all that? Can wheels sticking out of the whell cause a loss of about 1 mpg?

    4.10 gears, sliders, and lots of buttons.
    I dont think they would affect it much. Technically, by pushing the wheels out, you are increasing the frontal area of the truck, but very minimally.
