its actually pretty easy, sanding i would say is the most difficult part. just very time consuming and a little painful on the fingers after awhile, but sanding isnt super important (i found this out after i sanded the first headlight)

I found out that the TRD off-road package trucks have a "smoke" tinting to the headlights which is a film over the original chrome that everyone else has, which i was for sure to remove all of that before painting:

    http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/technical-chat/2327-blacking-out-headlights-how.html

just follow these steps, what i did differently was i painted the gay little yellow reflector on the outsides and left the inner lense for the blinker/DTRL out, i like it much better, makes the light give a softer glow and it isnt so dominate

also at the end i layed a bead of silicone glue into the groove of the headlight housing before popping both peices back into the oven, ive had it done for about a week now and no signs of fogging :)

I've got some serious fogging going on my driver's side light. I need to add some silicone but I'm lazy to take it all apart again to dry them up. It was pretty easy for the most part, just be careful taking the bulb out.
