Anyone used AEM Dryflow Air Filter before and actually made a difference in performance?

Our trucks dont gain anything from just an air filter. Need the whole intake to get anything out of it. Even then it wont be much if anything.

On the contrary I've seen alot of posts here by people claiming that a complete intake had worse results than just the drop in filter. And yea you're not going to see a huge increase of power but I still think its a good idea as it's better for your engine in my opinion. More air equals better combustion is what I was always taught.

What does, the whole intake or just the drop in?

It's less Tacoma and more mod
That's why I like K&N filters, they include that warning sticker. That warning sticker is a godsend, it warns you that someone put an inadequate filter on the vehicle so you can avoid purchasing.

I have used AEM Dry flow drop in filter on my 99 Tacoma. I didn't notice not difference at all. What I did notice was a little more dust on the inside of my intake tub. :( What I found that works the best is the oem Toyota filters.

More air wont do squat on an engine that cant do any more with it. The stock engine gets plenty of air from the stock filter. A different filter will do nothing but let more crap in, just like Rock Lobster said.
