After a long conversation with Tire Rack tech support I still can't find a set of wheels for a 235/85/16 tire. I currently have stock 245/75/16; (wheel width 6.5-8", height 30.5, offset is 25-35mm). Plan is to put a 1" levelling kit along with new 16" wheels and 235/85/16 on my truck. The tech told me I need a wheel that is 6-7.5" wide with an offset of 15-35mm. The only 16" Tacoma wheel that Tire Rack sells at 6-7.5" wide is a silver wheel I don't like. I want a black wheel or black with accents. Two things: 1) is the tech correct on the wheel width for 235/85/16 and 2) can someone recommend a site to purchase this wheel other than Tire Rack. thanks

Try wheelers or keep your factory rims.

According to the wheel fitment chart from discount tire you can go up to an 8" wide wheel with the 235's. I wouldn't personally go with a wheel that wide though (it looks funny). Look at oem wheels and just get them powder coated the color you want.

Look into factory oem wheels unless your set on not wanting to keep it Toyota.

Just the essentials and no extra fluff.
I just kept my TRD off-road wheels. They work just fine.
