    New to forum..Anyone found out what to do with this warm up engine ticking noise, the dealer is telling me this is normal? Any help would be great!

    Sounds normal. The V6 seems less cantankerous to me if I put 91-93 octane in it. YMMV, of course.

    Mine got quieter after 5-10k miles. But it is totally a rattlebox. It's disconcerting, but that V6 has been known to go for 300K miles on basic maintenance - Toyota used it in a bunch of vehicles and it is widely regarded as reliable.

    If I am wrong, and the engine does eat itself, then you should do this.
