GERONIMO!!!! adventure build/BS... SOLD :-(

Here is Geronimo. A 2004 Xtra-cab TRD OR, Sr5. I bought it in April of this year and have been dumping every dime and free moment i have into it to get ready for the most excellent of adventures. My father and I are headed out this week to tackle some of North America's most beautiful landscape. we will spend approx. 1 month living out of the truck and a 1977 starcraft camper he bought off craigslist. This adventure is serving a dual purpose. Not only testing us and our equipment but also fulfilling a father/son dream to see everything the west has to offer. After this adventure the truck is going to go directly back into maintenance mode in order to prepare for our next overland journey to Prudhoe bay. Any and all advice is welcome. Also would love to hear some stories, BS and must do's.

New cv axles, new suspension bits, drawing plans for the sleeping platform and the 3/4 inch plywood for the platform

 

Bumper finished, toytec shackles added to compensate for the heavy ass 1/4" steel bumper

 

ARB bumper ORDERED! I don't think I've ever been this excited for something in my life

 

Got my ARB bumper installed and 3 pairs of KC Apollo 6" lights! Need to figure out what winch I want to put in there... Any suggestions?

After some of the most excellent of adventures the frame finally got bad enough I could no longer keep band aiding it. I caved and got a brand new TRD OR DCSB 4x4... I have never had such an attachment to a vehicle so it was sad to part it out and sell it... But on the bright side It completes my collection of Taco's of every generation though and a new drawing board for my dad and Is next big road trip
