I'm going to lift my truck using Bilstein 5100's at 2.5 with a wheelers progressive 1.5in AAL in the rear. Keeping stock UCA's. I'm going to be using my stock TRD sport wheels with All Pro 1.5in hub centric wheel spacers.

Should a 285-70-17 tire fit? Specifically the one I have in mind is the new Cooper Discoverer STT PRO.

If that won't work I may end up going with a 265 version as I want to avoid a cab mount chop. Truck will see mild trails. Thanks for any help, I k is it's been asked a lot before but one of the things never saw was someone using the stock sport wheels with 1.5 in spacers. I'm not sure if this will change much.

You will still have some trimming to do with a 285 (yes cab mount). You can always meet in the middle with a 275, but also consider getting aftermarket coils to not peg out your front shocks at 2.5 especially if your truck will do some "mild off roading". It's going to be a very rough ride at 2.5 as well.

Originally I was going to go with the 275 70 17 BF Goodrich KO2 but then the coppers came out and they won't be making them in a 275, however I may just stick with the KO2. I wanted to avoid coils for now as down the road I plan on getting a set of kings.
