    New here, post #2.

My old truck was a 2000, with a 2" cornfed front spacers, 1" add-a-leaf in the back, and 32" tires. Rock Sliders that I can't remember where I got them online, and a Cobra CB.

My new truck is a 2015 tacoma with the TRD Sport Extra Value Package.

My old truck was about 20-1/4" high, measuring from the ground to the body seam just under the edge. The back Diff was about 9-1/2" from the ground

I measured my new truck the other day and I believe my back Diff is also 9-1/2" from the ground. But it's still got that front down look. So I'm going to be lifting it a bit, but not too much though.

The wheels on the new are 17" rims with 265/65/R17 which are 30.56".
I want to put on 285/70/R17, which are 32.71". Will these fit on my Stock 17" rims? The guy at Discount tire said they won't and I'd need new rims. Tires that fit a 17" rim should fit a 17" rim, right?

Ok for my lift I was thinking about the readylift 3" front, but the kit for front and back comes with 2" back blocks. My Jeep friend said I shouldn't use blocks as they wear out the leaf springs and can cause axel wrap. So I was thinking of doing 2 add-a-leafs? Can I do that?
For a total of 3" in front and 2" in back to level it out and so I can fit those 32.71" tires I want.

Then comes the rock sliders. I wish I could remember the place I got them from, they were straight square tubing and welded on.

One more question about the cornfed spacers, do they compress the struts? The ReadyLift say they don't and I imagine I can use them with the bilstein shocks that came with the TRD sport package. And are spacers for the front ok? I do have some fun at times but I'm not a rock climber. My Cornfeds never gave me a problem.

ANY help, suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated!

To answer your tire question. The 285's require a rim that is wider than the stock rims. The stock rims are 17x7.5 and the 285's should be on a 17x8 to 17x10.5 rim. A 285 can be mounted on a 7.5 but is not recommended because of premature wearing, mainly at the bead.
