I bought my truck in January and its a 2015 with 5,000 miles and twice in the last two weeks, after I start it, it makes a strange grinding noise almost like the starter is re-firing. This happens 2-4 seconds after the engine turns over normally. I would just take it to the dealer but I am assuming it won't occur when the dealer inspects it.

Anyone else have this issue or any idea what the cause could be? Doesn't seem to be any wiring issues that are obviously apparent.

    Thanks in advance

I will eventually, if the noise become more common, but I am assuming with the limited information I can provide them and the infrequency of the noise, they will simply try to start it a couple of times and weren't hear anything and then jiggle some wires and send me on my way.
