My TRD OR wheels are in horrible condition, but I can't afford to replace them right now. What is the best way to sand them so I can plastidip them? I was thinking sand paper, but though maybe a wire brush on a drill might be better.

    The "Best" way?
Chemical stripper and or media blasting, conversion coating (alodine), primer, paint, clear.

    Oh...plastidip. Nevermind.

The plasti-dip is pretty forgiving so you won't have to do too much prep work. Just make sure they're clean and knock down any rough spots like curb rash and you should be fine. But my $.02: stay away from the plasti-dip. It's a cheap fix, yeah, but if you really want something that will last and look good, go with paint. Duplicolor makes some decent stuff if you aren't going to a pro shop or powder. As far as cheap fixes go, this is what I would do. It takes a little more prep, but it's worth it in the long run.

Well, the factory paint is peeling off of all 4 of them pretty bad, so I assume I'm going to have to sand them all.
